The Number 1 Olympic Athlete of India, he is perhaps the most consistent Sports icon of the country having a tally of 14 Medals from Olympics, Commonwealth and Asian Events.
He is the first Indian World Champion wrestler who won the gold medal in freestyle competition at the World Championship 2010. He is the only Indian to have won back to back individual Olympic medals. A silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics and a bronze medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
